Wood Stain & Protector – Amaranth

Description

Wood Stain & Protector – Amaranth

A deep jewel like purple wood stain adds depth and interest to any garden planting theme. This wood stain also compliments well with other colours in the Wood Protector range such as Silver Fir.

After preparing the timber for painting this stain, a first coat will add a wash of colour and soak into the timber. Subsequent coats will darken the colour and add to the waterproofing. If you don’t want to make the colour stronger use Wood Protector Clear Tough Coat to add further protection but not colour.

This top quality garden paint waterproofs, nourishes and protects all types of external timber, providing your garden with all year round colour and protection.

The superior formulation of this product allows it to be applied to terracotta pots and masonry (will adhere to any material that is porous).

So why not have a go and cheer up those tired pots and old walls as well as your fences and shed. Be adventurous and give your garden a complete make over with this versatile product.

Advice: 2 coats are recommended with further coats increasing the solidity of the colour. Wood Protector is a wood stain coating so will wear off over time. If applying Wood Protector to a garden building that will be subjected to high levels of exposure to weather, it is recommended that you apply Protek Clear Tough Coat as a top coat.
This is a protective water-repellent coating. If your timber isn’t treated with a preservative then depending on the type of wood and product, you may want to use our Wood Preserver first.
