Wood Stain & Protector – Lilac

A pretty pastel shade of purple this wood stain is reminiscent of the bluebell woods in spring. Be imaginative and team it with other coloured wood stains or complementary plants. Wood Protector Lilac wood stain looks lovely painted on play houses, summer houses or trellis. It is easy to apply and will go not only onto smooth and rough timber but can also colour masonry and terracotta.

Wood Protector is a waterproof wood stain that will resist fungal and algal attack while being safe for use on children’s play equipment, it contains no heavy metals etc. and conforms to EN-71.

This top quality garden paint waterproofs, nourishes and protects all types of external timber, providing your garden with all year round colour and protection.

The superior formulation of this product allows it to be applied to terracotta pots and masonry (will adhere to any material that is porous).

Coverage: 1 Litre will cover approximately 8m²
Advice: 2 coats are recommended with further coats increasing the solidity of the colour. Wood Protector is a wood stain coating so will wear off over time. If applying Wood Protector to a garden building that will be subjected to high levels of exposure to weather, it is recommended that you apply Protek Clear Tough Coat as a top coat.
This is a protective water-repellent coating. If your timber isn’t treated with a preservative then depending on the type of wood and product, you may want to use our Wood Preserver first.
