Wood Stain & Protector – Poppy

A bold and striking red wood stain that is glamorous and fun. This colour can bring elements of the East to a garden design such as can be found in a traditional Japanese garden when strikingly contrasted with our Wood Protector Ebony wood stain, or bring some simple festive fun to a planter.

This waterproof coating is pet and plant friendly, naturally occurring biocides make it long lasting and have low environmental impact. This wood stain can be applied to rough or smooth timber surfaces and can even be applied to terracotta and concrete pots.

This top quality garden paint waterproofs, nourishes and protects all types of external timber, providing your garden with all year round colour and protection.

The superior formulation of this product allows it to be applied to terracotta pots and masonry (will adhere to any material that is porous).

So why not have a go and cheer up those tired pots and old walls as well as your fences and shed. Be adventurous and give your garden a complete make over with this versatile product.

Advice: 2 coats are recommended with further coats increasing the solidity of the colour. Wood Protector is a wood stain coating so will wear off over time. If applying Wood Protector to a garden building that will be subjected to high levels of exposure to weather, it is recommended that you apply Protek Clear Tough Coat as a top coat.
This is a protective water-repellent coating. If your timber isn’t treated with a preservative then depending on the type of wood and product, you may want to use our Wood Preserver first.
